Study on the shear behavior of RC beams strengthened by CFRP grid with epoxy mortar

In this paper, an experimental and theoretical study on the shear behavior of rectangular reinforced concrete (RC) beams strengthened by CFRP grid with epoxy mortar was investigated. Based test parameters including reinforcement ratio grid, span-to-effective depth strength, six beam specimens were prepared carried out to reveal their strengthening mechanism performance improvement. addition, a prediction model capacity proposed for more reasonable prediction. The research results indicated that crack patterns RC in can be effectively improved. There substantial influence effects under same as changing which should paid attention. A novel evaluate grid-strengthened beams, appeared good predictor sufficient accuracy smaller dispersion, when compared other four existing models.
